Hunter Home S-Flex Frames

When print and design experts CUBE needed a system that would work for extra-large graphics, they chose the S-Flex media tensioning system for easy installation and the ability to swap out skins in the future. 

Their client, homewares retailer Hunter Home, had requested outdoor signage sized at around 2 x 6 metres for the exterior of their new Napier store. ‘We’ve used the S-Flex system before,’ says CUBE’s Sarah Ward. ‘The clients really like that look and it allows for interchangeable graphics.’ 

The printed skin was supplied to Napier signwriters Wilsigns. ‘Once you have the frame in place, it’s easy to clip the graphics in,’ says Wilsigns’ director Vann Riley. ‘It’s a good way of installing oversized prints due to the ease of it, and the cost is lower compared to putting rigid panels up.’  

S-Flex is compatible with most commercially available flexible media, including PVC, front lit and back-lit, mesh, canvas, textiles and many other substrates.
