Rotary Club Artwork Navigator Wallsign

The collaboration between Rotary Browns Bay and Long Bay College to help beautify Browns Bay was mounted as a large format mural by Speedy Signs Albany.

‘The college ran a design competition, and the winning design was put together in Photoshop by one of the students,’ says Chris from Speedy Signs. ‘After discussion with Signage Systems, we settled on using the Navigator Wallsign System to provide a neat, professional, framed mural look.’
The image was digitally printed and the prints were then applied to seven vertical 4-mm ACM panels. ‘We had used the Navigator Wallsign System on a few other projects before, but not one quite as big as this.’
The challenge was to hang the top and bottom brackets on an uneven stippled concrete surface while making sure it was flat and square. ‘Signage Systems are very helpful in finding the best way to install the sign,’ says Chris, ‘and as always, the full team were excellent when putting together solutions for this job.’
